Client Overview

Our client is a Design and Manufacturer of specialist equipment to Commercial and industrial customers. They have a fully equipped site which supports R&D so for the Mechanical Design Engineer joining you will be able to truly develop the product lines falling in your workload.

Job Responsibilities

• Full product life cycle design, including product development
• Associated technical documentation
• Working with cross functional departments on specific projects
• Managing your own specific projects from cradle to grave
• Rapid prototyping, working on 1-2 mainstream projects and supporting various others

Skill Required

• Mechanical Engineering background in Education and working Experience
• 2-5 Years experience as Mechanical Design Engineer including product development
• CFD/FEA experience is a bonus
• Able to demonstrate full product life cycle projects, product development, and a good attitude towards problem solving with a flexible mindset
• Worked with Sheet Metal, Injection Molding, Plastics etc
• Worked with Electro-Mechanical product

Compensation & Other Benefits

• Circa £40,000 per annum (based on experience)
