Electronic Design Engineer

Client Overview

Our client is an established Tier 1 supplier for the defense industry, working out of their purpose-built facility which supports the full lifecycle for their product range.

 

As well as offering a technically challenge product line with the opportunity of project ownership and working cross functionally, they have worked tirelessly to create and maintain a great culture and work ethic within the business.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Conceptual Design, through to productionisation
  • PCB layout and Schematic Design, Debugging
  • Production Support including Fault Finding and documentation
  • Working with suppliers
  • Working with the R&D department and Manufacturing on projects

 

Skill Required

  • Electronic Engineering degree
  • Open on time served based on skills/experience relative to position
  • Altium user ideally (not a deal beaker)
  • Proven track record of full product life cycle design projects
  • Candidate must be able to obtain SC Level Clearance
  • Ideally coming from the defense industry (not a deal breaker)

 

Compensation & Other Benefits

  • £35,000 to £45,000 per annum and 25 Days Holiday (+ Bank Holidays)
