Graduate Mechanical Engineer

Client Overview

Our client is a best-in-class organization, with a fantastic culture and work ethic. They support and work within the Design & Manufacture of complex products serving multiple spaces with engineering included but not limited to, Defence, Marine, Oil & Gas, Energy and more.

In this role of Graduate Mechanical Engineer, you will be supporting the design and development path for their products, helping deal with all associated challenges, productionisation, and R&D engagement.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and Development of Mechanics for new prototypes and current products
• Help perform Mechanical compliance testing on new and existing customer products
• Learn about FEA and its usage with Engineering
• Perform experiments to determine the performance of new and existing systems
• Talk with suppliers, manufacturing, and engineering

Skill Required

• 3D Cad Experience (pref would be Inventor – not a deal breaker)
• Some form of Engineering experience, within industry (not a deal breaker)
• BEng in Mechanical Engineering
• Someone with a tangible love for engineering

Compensation & Other Benefits

• Competitive salary £30,000 to £35,000 (dependent on experience)
